Welcome to Urban Media. These Terms & Conditions establish the general terms for accessing our website and enquiring about or purchasing our cab advertising services.
Please read these Terms carefully before proceeding with a campaign. Individual campaigns may also be governed by a quotation, proposal, insertion order, email confirmation, or separate written agreement accepted by the relevant parties.
1. About Urban Media

2. Scope of Services
Urban Media provides cab advertising services through advertising displays installed inside connected cabs. Campaign availability, locations, schedules, creative formats, and commercial terms are subject to confirmation.
The applicable campaign quotation or written confirmation may specify the campaign duration, participating cabs, requested ad plays, pricing, advertising creative, locations, and other agreed requirements.
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee campaign acceptance, availability, pricing, or a confirmed advertising schedule.
3. Website Use and Enquiries
Visitors should provide accurate and complete information when submitting enquiries or requesting services through our website.
Website content is provided for general information about Urban Media and its services. Specific commercial commitments should be confirmed through the applicable quotation or other agreed communication.
4. Campaign Booking and Confirmation
Campaigns are subject to confirmation by Urban Media. Before a campaign begins, the client should review the relevant quotation, proposal, or written confirmation, including the agreed price, schedule, campaign duration, creative, and delivery expectations.
Any material change to the agreed campaign should be documented through a verifiable written communication accepted by the relevant parties.
5. Payment Terms
Unless a different arrangement is expressly agreed in writing, the standard payment schedule is:
- 60% advance payment: Payable at least three days before the campaign start date.
- Remaining 40%: Payable between the 20th and 25th day after the campaign starts.
Clients should follow the payment schedule and payment instructions stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, or campaign confirmation.
Any alternative payment schedule must be agreed by the relevant parties and recorded in a verifiable written communication. Taxes, late payment consequences, and other payment-related arrangements should be stated in the applicable commercial documentation.
6. Advertising Creative and Content
Advertising creative may be supplied by the client, created by Urban Media, or developed through a mutually agreed process. The applicable arrangement should be confirmed for each campaign.
The client and Urban Media should agree on the final creative, format, technical specifications, and any required revisions before publication.
Each client is responsible for ensuring that the advertising content it supplies or approves is accurate and that the necessary rights, licences, permissions, and authorisations have been obtained for the use of text, images, videos, logos, trademarks, music, and other materials.
Urban Media may review creative materials for technical suitability and compliance with applicable law and agreed campaign requirements. Production costs, revisions, and approval deadlines should be confirmed where applicable.
7. Advertising Approval
Advertising materials must be reviewed and approved by both the client and Urban Media before publication, in accordance with the agreed campaign process.
The client should verify the final creative, including claims, offers, contact information, branding, and other supplied details.
Approval by Urban Media does not replace any legal permission, licence, regulatory approval, or substantiation required from the advertiser.
Urban Media may request revisions to materials that are technically unsuitable or reasonably considered inconsistent with applicable law or the agreed campaign requirements. Any material impact on the schedule should be communicated to the client.
8. Advertisement Duration
Each individual advertisement played on an Urban Media display must have a maximum duration of 30 seconds. No individual advertisement may exceed 30 seconds under this advertising format.
The required file format, dimensions, quality, and other technical specifications should be confirmed with Urban Media before the campaign begins.
9. Campaign Delivery and Ad Plays
Campaign delivery estimates are subject to cab availability, vehicle operating schedules, campaign locations, display availability, technical conditions, and other operational factors.
Any estimated number of ad plays or delivery capacity is an estimate unless a specific delivery commitment is expressly agreed in writing for the relevant campaign.
An ad play means a playback event on an advertising display. An ad play does not, by itself, establish that a unique person viewed the advertisement or guarantee a particular audience size, impression count, engagement level, or business result.
If a campaign includes an expressly agreed delivery commitment, any applicable adjustment or remedy will be determined by the relevant written agreement and applicable law.
10. Campaign Changes
Requests to change campaign dates, locations, creative materials, participating cabs, or other campaign details are subject to review and confirmation by Urban Media.
Changes may affect campaign feasibility, scheduling, or costs. Revised commercial terms should be agreed in writing before the changes are treated as confirmed.
11. Cancellation Policy
A client may request cancellation after 30 days, subject to the applicable campaign agreement and written confirmation by Urban Media.
The applicable quotation or campaign agreement should specify when the 30-day period begins, the required notice, the effective cancellation date, and any financial consequences.
Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing. A request should not be treated as approved until the applicable cancellation arrangements have been confirmed.
12. Refund Policy
Refund requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the applicable campaign agreement, payments made, services delivered, the circumstances of the request, and applicable law.
A refund request does not automatically guarantee approval. Any decision and the amount, if any, to be refunded should be communicated to the client.
Where relevant, the campaign agreement should clarify how cancellations, partial delivery, and operational interruptions affect refund eligibility.
13. Availability and Operational Interruptions
Cab advertising depends on the availability and operation of participating vehicles and displays. Delivery may be affected by vehicle downtime, technical issues, maintenance, scheduling limitations, or other operational circumstances.
If an interruption materially affects a campaign, the parties should communicate and determine any applicable adjustment under their campaign agreement and applicable law.
Any specific service-level commitment, make-good arrangement, or remedy for extended interruptions should be expressly documented in writing.
14. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate campaign and billing information.
- Providing or approving creative materials within agreed timelines.
- Obtaining necessary rights and permissions for supplied content.
- Reviewing and approving the final advertising creative.
- Making payments according to the agreed payment schedule.
- Providing information reasonably required to coordinate the campaign.
- Ensuring that their advertising claims and offers comply with applicable law.
15. Intellectual Property
Urban Media's brand, website content, designs, and other intellectual property are subject to applicable law and any relevant written agreement.
Clients must have the rights necessary for advertising materials they provide. Permission to display client materials should be limited to the purposes and duration agreed by the parties.
Any additional licence, portfolio-use permission, or transfer of rights should be expressly agreed in writing.
16. Liability and Applicable Law
The parties' rights and responsibilities are subject to the applicable campaign agreement and governing law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability where such exclusion or restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Any liability cap, indemnity, exclusion of particular losses, or allocation of third-party claims should be expressly documented where appropriate and reviewed by qualified legal counsel before use.
17. Privacy and Personal Information
Personal information submitted through the Urban Media website or in connection with our services is addressed in our Privacy Policy.
Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how personal information may be collected, used, and handled.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy serve different purposes. Applicable privacy and data protection requirements continue to apply independently.
18. B2B Understanding and Agreed Commercial Terms
Urban Media recognises that business-to-business relationships may require individual commercial arrangements, mutual understanding, and flexibility based on the specific requirements of a client or advertising campaign.
These Terms provide the general framework for our services. Specific terms agreed between Urban Media and a client may differ from the general terms published on this website.
Campaign-specific terms, exceptions, commitments, payment arrangements, delivery expectations, or other commercial understandings mutually agreed in a quotation, proposal, insertion order, email, or other verifiable written record by duly authorised representatives of both parties shall be considered when determining the terms applicable to that engagement.
Where a campaign-specific term expressly conflicts with a general provision of these Terms, the agreed campaign-specific term shall prevail to the extent of that conflict, subject to applicable law and any overriding written agreement between the parties.
Statements or commitments made by an Urban Media executive shall be treated as binding only to the extent that the executive is authorised to make the relevant commitment and the terms are sufficiently clear and verifiable. Material commercial commitments should be documented in writing to avoid misunderstandings.
Urban Media and its clients are encouraged to communicate openly, act in good faith, and make reasonable efforts to resolve genuine differences through mutual discussion.
Nothing in this clause overrides applicable law or removes rights and obligations that cannot legally be excluded or modified by agreement.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The governing law, competent courts, and dispute resolution procedure applicable to these Terms and individual campaigns should be confirmed in the final version following legal review.
No exclusive court jurisdiction or mandatory arbitration arrangement is established by this section until the relevant provision has been reviewed and expressly adopted.
20. Changes to These Terms
Urban Media may update these Terms when its services, operational practices, or applicable legal requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Changes to material commercial terms for an existing campaign should be handled in accordance with the applicable campaign agreement and applicable law.
21. General Provisions
These Terms should be read together with the applicable quotation, invoice, campaign confirmation, and any separately agreed written contract.
If a provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
